Overview: The MD92 Gyro Changeover Switch from Marine Data is designed to allow simple and easy switching between two separate compass systems: (1) A Gyro and TMC OR EMC; (2) Master and Slave gyros; (3) Port and starboard gyros. When the MD92 is used in a safety critical system and in the event of a RS422 heading sensor failure, it can be used to switch an alternative/backup heading source to the navigation system by a user-operated guard-protected toggle switch. House in an aluminium diecast box and designed for simple, low maintenance operation.
